Laureen has been privileged to be onstage with First Impressions Theatre in many of their productions, including The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Steel Magnolias and Sinners. She is tickled pink to be involved in The Memory of Water — a play which is close to her heart because it is a story told with depth, honesty, humour, tears, heart and soul. Families are complex structures but our relationships with those closest to us enrich our lives and allow us to stretch, grow and mature in ways not always comfortable, but always rewarding. There is nothing more meaningful than a belly laugh or a good cry shared with those we hold closest to our hearts. Laureen sends heartfelt thanks for a lifetime of unconditional love and support, to her beautiful children, loving parents, sweet sister and brother and her dear friends. “All of you make me a better human being.”

Louise has performed in many productions at the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre including Educating Rita, Drinking Alone, Sinners, Murderer, Proof and most recently in Shakespeare's As You Like It. Prior to coming to Vancouver several years ago, she made her home in Toronto where she studied acting for three years at the Centre for Actors' Study of Toronto with actor/director Kurt Reis. Louise is thrilled to be treading the boards again with such a talented cast and crew. Special thanks to Michael and Eileen, Darlene, Trilby and Peter, and to John for his ongoing love and support. And of course to you the audience, without whom the show would not go on!!

This is Tom’s first time working with and performing in a production with First Impressions Theatre. He has been performing with The Historical Performance Ensemble in Voices of the Fraser and The Fraser River Revue for the past three seasons and has worked on numerous television and film productions over the years. The Memory of Water is a very meaningful story and wonderfully written stage play and, “I am very fortunate to find myself in the company of such talented individuals in this production.”
